My favourite game essay

I remember playing my favourite game since I was four years old; my parents used to bring it out during family game nights.

Monopoly is an all-time classic game that has been played for many generations – it is a game about buying, trading and investing, but it’s also a great test of strategy and luck. In the game, a player follows the rules set on the board, trying to make the best trade decisions and take control of all the properties on the game board.

My favourite thing about playing Monopoly is that it brings out my competitive side; I always want to be the victor and win the game!

The goal in the game is to bankrupt the other players, but a true winner also knows how to achieve success without having to drive the other players to near bankruptcy.

This involves a lot of strategy and smart investment of the money. A player can choose to buy different properties such as railroads, houses, or hotels, depending on their budget and how well they’re doing during the game.

The different properties come with a different rent value, so it’s very important to make sure to make the best decisions when it comes to the property investment.

Aside from the strategy element, there’s also luck in the game; this can be achieved by collecting a set of special cards or by rolling a good combination of dice.

These factors play a huge part in determining who the winner will be and who will suffer a heartbreaking defeat.

Although it is a game of luck and strategy, Monopoly always manages to bring out the best in the players, providing us with laughs, fun and unforgettable moments.

Monopoly has been an integral part of my life for many years and continues to charm me to this day.

The mix of strategy and luck always keeps me on my toes and I can never turn down a game of Monopoly with my family.

It’s a great game for some friendly competition and brings our family together with lots of laughs and good memories.
